Consultation
Jade takes the time to understand your brow goals, skin type, and face shape. She will walk you through the process, answer every question, and confirm that microblading is a good fit for you — before any commitment is made.

Brow design & mapping
Using precise symmetry measurements, Jade hand-draws the brow shape with a removable pencil before any pigment is applied. The shape is refined until it suits your features exactly. Your approval is required before proceeding.

Pigmentation
Working with a fine, sterile blade, Jade creates individual hair strokes that follow the natural direction and spacing of your brow hair. A topical numbing cream is applied throughout for your comfort.

Aftercare
You leave with detailed written aftercare instructions. The brows will appear darker and more defined in the first week, then soften naturally as the skin heals over the following 4–6 weeks.

Included in your treatment: a follow-up session at 6–8 weeks to refine the result after healing, adjust colour depth if needed, and ensure the finished look is exactly what you hoped for.

How long does microblading last?
Microblading typically lasts 1 to 2 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and how well aftercare instructions are followed. Oilier skin tends to fade faster. Annual or bi-annual touch-up sessions are recommended to keep the result looking fresh.
Does microblading hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching — not painful. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure, and Jade works at a pace that keeps you comfortable throughout.
How is microblading different from a regular tattoo?
Microblading uses a fine handheld blade rather than a machine, and a semi-permanent pigment that fades gradually over time. The pigment is deposited at a shallower depth than traditional tattooing, which gives microblading its soft, natural hair-stroke appearance.
How many sessions are included?
Your treatment includes the initial microblading session and a touch-up appointment at 6–8 weeks. The touch-up is a standard and important part of the process — it refines the result once the skin has fully healed and ensures lasting colour and definition.
What does the healing process look like?
In the first few days, brows may appear darker and more defined than the finished result. Between days 5 and 10, the surface skin sheds gently and the colour lightens noticeably. By weeks 4 to 6, the true healed result settles in. During this time, avoid getting the brows wet, and keep makeup and skincare products away from the area.
Can I get microblading if I have very sparse or no brows?
Yes — microblading works beautifully for sparse, patchy, or completely missing brows. Jade will map a shape suited to your facial structure and create a natural-looking result from scratch. Clients with alopecia or hair loss from other causes are welcome to reach out.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Avoid retinol, AHA/BHA exfoliants, and blood-thinning medications for at least one week before your appointment. Come with clean, makeup-free brows. If you have had any previous brow tattooing or permanent makeup, please mention this at booking so Jade can assess the area before proceeding.
