Imagine waking up to brows that are already perfect — softly defined, beautifully shaped, and entirely yours. Microblading is the art of drawing fine, hair-like strokes into the brow line, recreating what nature gave you or what time has thinned away. At Jadeelle Beauté, in Montreal's West Island, every brow begins with careful mapping of your features, because the best microblading is the kind no one can detect. Jade, a medical esthetician with sixteen years of experience, works gently and precisely, one stroke at a time, until your brows simply look like the best version of themselves.
Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup in which pigment is placed into the upper layers of the skin using a fine, precise hand tool. Rather than filling the brow with a solid block of colour, each pass of the tool creates a single, delicate stroke that mimics a natural brow hair — its direction, its taper, its softness. The result is a brow that looks grown, not drawn.
It is made for many of us: brows thinned by years of tweezing, softened by age or hormonal changes, made sparse by alopecia or medical treatments — or simply brows that ask for twenty minutes of pencil work every single morning. Microblading gives that time back, and gives the face back its natural frame.
The artistry is in the mapping. Before a single stroke is made, Jade studies your bone structure, your natural hair pattern and the proportions of your face, then designs a shape with you — never on you. Pigment shades are blended to match your hair and undertone, so the healed result belongs to your face and no one else's. Healed brows typically last 12 to 24 months, softening gracefully over time, with a simple annual refresh keeping them at their best.
Individual hair strokes blend into your real brows — no blocks, no harsh edges, nothing that announces itself.
No more daily pencilling and powdering. Wake up, and your brows are already done.
Swim, sweat, travel, cry at weddings — your brows stay exactly where Jade put them.
Every shape is mapped to your bone structure and approved by you before any pigment touches skin.
Twelve to twenty-four months of effortless brows, with a light annual refresh to keep them perfect.
Sixteen years of medical esthetics means rigorous hygiene, numbing comfort and a calm, careful hand.
Everything begins with a conversation. Jade listens to what you love and don't love about your brows, studies your face, and maps a custom shape with precise measurements. You'll see the design drawn on and approve every detail — shape, fullness, shade — before anything else happens. Nothing proceeds without your yes.
A numbing cream settles in while you relax. Then, stroke by stroke, Jade builds your new brows over about two hours — checking in with you, adjusting as she goes. Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching; many simply close their eyes and rest.
For the first week, brows appear darker and bolder — enjoy it, it softens. Light flaking around days four to seven is normal. Keep the area dry and product-free for about ten days; Jade sends you home with simple aftercare and is a message away if you have questions. The true, softened colour reveals itself by week four to six.
Six to eight weeks later, you return for the perfecting session. Jade refines any strokes that healed lighter, balances the shade and seals the result. This second pass is part of the process — it's what takes brows from beautiful to flawless.

Microblading is permanent enough to deserve an artist.
Jade has spent sixteen years in medical esthetics — long enough to know that no two faces, and no two brows, should ever be treated the same. Every appointment at her West Island studio begins with listening, continues with precise design, and ends only when you love what you see in the mirror. Her clients come for the artistry — the natural strokes, the balanced shapes, the shades that simply belong — and stay for the way it feels: calm, unhurried, and genuinely cared for. This is beauty work done gently, in a space that feels more like a friend's beautiful home than a clinic.
Most clients describe it as light scratching rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the session, and Jade works gently and gradually. Many clients are surprised by how comfortable the experience is.
Typically 12 to 24 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure. Oilier skin tends to soften the strokes sooner. An annual refresh keeps brows looking their best.
The surface heals in about 7 to 10 days, during which brows appear darker and may lightly flake. Full healing takes 4 to 6 weeks as the pigment settles into its true, softer shade.
Most healthy adults are. Microblading may not be suitable if you are pregnant or nursing, have certain skin conditions in the brow area, or take specific medications. A consultation with Jade will confirm whether it's right for you.
A perfecting touch-up is done 6 to 8 weeks after the first session, once healing is complete. It refines stroke definition, adjusts the shade and ensures even retention — it's part of the process, not an extra.
Keep makeup, skincare and water away from the brow area for about 10 days while the skin heals. After that, you can wear makeup as usual — though most clients find they no longer need brow products at all.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and ibuprofen for 24 hours before your session, and avoid retinol and exfoliating products near the brows for one week. Come as you are — Jade will map and design everything with you before any work begins.

Somewhere between the first stroke and the final mirror, something quietly shifts — mornings get easier, photos get kinder, and you stop thinking about your brows altogether. That's the point. Come find out how it feels.
