Natural Lip Blush in Montreal's West Island

your colour, remembered

Some lips fade quietly over the years — the colour softens, the border blurs, and lipstick becomes a daily requirement instead of a choice. Lip blush brings your colour home. A soft, semi-permanent tint is layered into the lips, reviving their natural rose, gently defining their shape, and leaving behind the kind of healthy flush that looks like you simply woke up this way. At Jadeelle Beauté, in Montreal's West Island, Jade — a medical esthetician with sixteen years of experience — blends each pigment to your skin's own undertone, so the result is unmistakably, beautifully yours.

The art

What is lip blush?

Lip blush is a form of semi-permanent makeup in which a sheer, watercolour-like pigment is layered into the lips with a fine needle. Unlike the hard lines and solid blocks of old-fashioned lip tattooing, lip blush builds colour the way a sunset builds light — gradually, softly, in translucent layers — until the lips hold a natural tint of their own.

It is made for lips that have lost colour with age or sun, for uneven pigmentation that makes lips look tired, for borders that have softened and blurred — and for anyone who would simply love to leave the house without reaching for a lip pencil. Lip blush can also gently correct asymmetry, giving both sides of the smile the same quiet confidence.

The artistry lives in the shade. During your consultation, Jade studies your natural lip tone and your skin's undertone, then blends a custom pigment — perhaps a whisper of rose, perhaps something a touch deeper — that belongs to your face and no one else's. Healed lip blush typically lasts 2 to 4 years, fading gracefully rather than abruptly, with an occasional refresh keeping the colour in full bloom.

The benefits

Why clients choose lip blush.

1

Colour that's yours

A custom-blended tint that revives your natural rose — never a painted-on shade.

2

Softly defined shape

Blurred borders are gently redrawn and small asymmetries quietly balanced.

3

Years, not hours

Two to four years of effortless colour, fading gracefully — no daily reapplication.

4

Kiss-proof, life-proof

Coffee, dinners, beach days — your colour stays put through all of it.

5

A fuller-looking smile

Even colour and a defined edge make lips read naturally fuller — no filler involved.

6

Gentle, medical-grade care

Sixteen years of medical esthetics means rigorous hygiene, numbing comfort and a calm, careful hand.

The experience

What to expect.

01

Consultation

Everything begins with a conversation. Jade looks at your natural lip tone, your undertone and the colours you love to wear, then blends a custom shade and maps a soft outline with you. You'll approve the colour and the shape before any pigment touches your lips — nothing proceeds without your yes.

02

Treatment

A numbing cream settles in while you relax. Then, in soft translucent passes, Jade layers the pigment over about two hours — refreshing the numbing as needed, checking the colour as it builds. Most clients describe a light vibration; many simply close their eyes and rest.

03

Healing

Day one, lips look boldly lipsticked and feel a little swollen — by morning, much calmer. Around days three to seven they dry and lightly flake, and the colour fades dramatically. Don't worry: this 'ghost phase' is part of the process. The true soft shade re-blooms by week four to six. Jade sends you home with simple aftercare and is a message away.

04

Touch-Up

Six to eight weeks later, you return for the perfecting session. Jade evens any areas that healed lighter, deepens the shade if you'd like a touch more, and seals the result. This second pass is part of the process — it's what takes the colour from lovely to luminous.

Why Jadeelle Beauté

Sixteen years of careful hands.

Your smile deserves an artist, not an assembly line.

Jade has spent sixteen years in medical esthetics — long enough to know that lips are the most personal feature of a face, and that the difference between good and unforgettable lip blush is restraint. Every appointment at her West Island studio begins with listening, continues with a custom-blended shade, and ends only when you love what you see in the mirror. Her clients come for the artistry — the natural tints, the soft definition, the colour that simply belongs — and stay for the way it feels: calm, unhurried, and genuinely cared for. This is beauty work done gently, in a space that feels more like a friend's beautiful home than a clinic.

FAQ

Questions, answered softly.

Does lip blush hurt?

Most clients describe a light vibration or mild scratching rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is applied before and refreshed during the session, and Jade works gently in soft passes. Lips are sensitive, but the experience is far more comfortable than most people expect.

How long does lip blush last?

Typically 2 to 4 years, softening gradually as your skin renews itself. Sun exposure, smoking and exfoliating products fade it sooner. A refresh session every couple of years keeps the colour at its best.

How long is the healing process?

Lips feel slightly swollen for the first day or two, then become dry and flaky for about a week. The colour appears bold at first, fades dramatically during healing — this 'ghost phase' is normal — then re-blooms to its true soft shade by week four to six.

Am I a good candidate?

Most healthy adults are. If you have a history of cold sores, an antiviral medication from your doctor before treatment is important, as the procedure can trigger an outbreak. Lip blush may not be suitable if you are pregnant or nursing or have certain skin conditions — a consultation with Jade will confirm.

How is the colour chosen?

Together, during your consultation. Jade studies your natural lip tone, your skin's undertone and the look you love — a barely-there rosy tint or a slightly deeper flush — then blends a custom pigment. The goal is always a shade that looks like yours, only better.

Can I wear lipstick afterward?

Keep lipstick, balms other than the provided aftercare, and water away from the lips for about 10 days while they heal. After that, wear anything you like — though most clients find a clear gloss is all they need.

How should I prepare?

Hydrate your lips for a few days before with a gentle balm, avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and ibuprofen for 24 hours, and avoid exfoliating the lips for one week. If you've ever had a cold sore, speak to your doctor about a preventive antiviral beforehand.

Booking is online through Fresha — choose Lip Blush, pick the time that suits you, and it's done. You can also reach Jade by phone at +1 514 458-9442, by email, or on Instagram @jadeellebeaute.
